What Is the FIT Method?

Before I ever stepped on the Olympia stage, before I built a wellness platform, and before the Kinectdots™ System had a name, I had to learn how to stay connected to myself through change.
That’s where the FIT Method began.
FIT stands for Faith, Intuition, and Tenacity. I know those words can sound simple, but I don’t use them casually. For me, they became tools. They helped me move through rejection, pressure, reinvention, aging, leadership, and the moments when life asked me to become a new version of myself before I felt fully ready.
Most people think transformation starts with a new routine. I understand why. A routine gives you something to do. But if your mind is still filled with fear, shame, confusion, or old definitions of success, the routine eventually becomes hard to hold. You can be doing the right things on the outside and still feel Dis-Kinected on the inside. The FIT Method starts with the inside.
Faith is vision and value.
Faith is not just believing something good will happen. Faith is the place where you remember your vision and your value. It helps you ask, “What is still true about me, even in this season?” When life gets loud, it’s easy to forget your own strength. It’s easy to measure yourself by what didn’t work, what took too long, or what other people seem to have figured out. Faith helps you Re-Kinect with the part of you that still has purpose.
Intuition is how you listen before life has to get louder.
I’ve learned that my body, my mind, and my spirit usually start speaking before I’m forced to stop. Intuition is not guessing. It’s awareness. It’s the ability to notice what you’re carrying, where you’re tense, what feels off, what feels aligned, and what you already know but may be trying to explain away.
This matters because many of us were trained to override ourselves. Keep going. Push through. Don’t complain. Don’t slow down. But if you ignore your own signals long enough, you can lose connection with the very wisdom that’s trying to protect you.
Tenacity is not punishment.
Tenacity is the part people often misunderstand. It’s not just pushing harder. I’ve pushed hard in my life, and I respect discipline, but I also know that forcing yourself is not the same as transforming yourself. Tenacity is learning how to keep moving with purpose. Sometimes that means taking the next big step. Sometimes it means redefining success so you don’t turn growth into punishment.
At 60+, I don’t define success the same way I did when I was younger. I care about strength, but I also care about alignment. I care about discipline, but I also care about wisdom. I care about progress, but I’m no longer interested in proving something at the expense of my peace.
That is why Faith, Intuition, and Tenacity work together. Faith gives you vision. Intuition helps you listen. Tenacity helps you keep choosing the next aligned step, even when the path requires patience.
This is what I mean when I talk about becoming mentally FIT. It is not about being perfect, positive, or motivated all the time. It is about having a way to Re-Kinect when life pulls you away from yourself.
The FIT Method is the inner work of transformation. It helps you understand why you want change, what your body and mind are telling you, and how to keep moving without losing yourself in the process.
That’s why FIT is not just about fitness. It can support the way you lead, the way you age, the way you build community, the way you recover, and the way you choose your next chapter.
The question is not only, “What do I want to change?” The deeper question is, “Am I connected enough to sustain the change I’m asking for?”
